Kyocera launched of its new clamshell type cellphone A5528K in Japan. Featured with 2.6 inch color LCD main display and 1.2 inch white/black sub-display, it supports 1.3M camera and infrared rays communication function. But the special feature of Kyocera A5528K is a voice reading function to read out text messages or an operating manual. It is expected to be available on the end of August with three different colors including brown, silver and pink.

Samsung Electronics released its HSDPA phone ‘UFO’ (also known as the SCH-W300/SPH-W30000) in Korea. The name UFO was derived from abbreviation of ‘Unimaginable, Fast speed and Oh, 7.2Mbps’ because Samsung UFO offers 7.2Mbps download speed enabling users to download a video file in 44 seconds and a mp3 file in 4.4 seconds.
